Valorant’s Tournament Format for Masters Bangkok
The Valorant Masters Bangkok 2025 will be an all-out war, split into two high-stakes phases: the Swiss Stage and the Playoffs. Here’s how the battle for glory will unfold!
Swiss Stage (Feb 20 – Feb 24)
This do-or-die opening phase follows a best-of-three (BO3) format, where teams fight for survival.
- Feb 20-21: First seeds take on second seeds in intense matchups. The opening-round draw took place in Riot’s Berlin studio, right after the VCT EMEA 2025 Kickoff.
- Feb 22: The four opening-round winners face off—two teams qualify directly to the Playoffs as first seeds!
- Feb 23: It’s crunch time! The four losers from Round 1 battle it out, and two teams are eliminated from the tournament.
- Feb 24: The final showdown of the Swiss Stage—two more teams earn their Playoff spots as second seeds!
Win twice, and you advance. Lose twice, and you’re out. No second chances.
Playoffs (Feb 27 – Mar 2)
The best of the best face off in a single-elimination bracket, with every match played in a BO3 format, except for the Lower Bracket Final and Grand Final, which will be best-of-five (BO5) clashes.
- Feb 27: The two Swiss Stage first seeds go head-to-head with two second seeds—winners move straight to the Upper Bracket Final (Feb 28), while losers drop to the Lower Bracket Semifinal (also Feb 28).
- Mar 1: The loser of the Upper Bracket Final fights for survival against the Lower Bracket Semifinal winner—the victor advances to the Grand Final.
- Mar 2: The Grand Final showdown! One last BO5 battle to crown the VCT Masters Bangkok champion.
