The tournament starts in Perth’s RAC Arena on Friday, Dec. 27, with the group stage moving to Sydney on Saturday, Dec. 28. Teams in Sydney will battle it out on outdoor hard courts, while Perth will host matches on an indoor hard court. Both venues will use the iconic Dunlop Australian Open balls, making for an epic start to the tennis season!
Prize Money
The United Cup 2025 champion will take home a massive prize pool of at least $10,250,000, split equally between the ATP and WTA. Individual prize money is determined by player rankings, match wins, and team victories, though no points will be awarded for mixed doubles.
Players have the chance to earn up to 500 points over the week, depending on their performance and ranking. With such a lucrative reward on the line, expect fierce competition from start to finish!
Tournament Format
The United Cup 2025 format promises intense competition from start to finish! Each city will host three groups of three countries, with nine teams battling it out in a round-robin format. Each tie consists of one men’s singles match, one women’s singles match, and one mixed doubles match.
