With the confetti still falling and the Masters Bangkok 2025 trophy raised high, the tournament’s MVP was announced — T1’s own Kim “Meteor” Tae-oh. The accolade was all the more impressive considering Meteor had only joined the squad at the end of 2024.
Although the newest member of the team, Meteor meshed with T1 as if he’d been a part of the squad the entire time, providing clutch plays and mouth-dropping moments throughout the tournament.
Though his individual numbers in the grand final had him with a negative KD — even trailing behind some of G2’s stars — his unrelenting presence and T1’s championship title ensured him of the MVP crown.
